Yoga Nidra is a process of allowing the body to move into a space of deep sleep while the mind remains awake, conscious, and quiet. Yoga Nidra means Yogic Sleep and while it can be considered a form of meditation it is distinctly different than meditation. When we practice Yoga Nidra, we leave the waking state of existence, move past the dreaming state and enter a space of deep sleep all while remaining awake.
This Yoga Nidra session is intended to deeply relax the body and rotate consciousness. In this space, you are gifted the opportunity to enter a space of conscious deep sleep where you can deidentify with the mind and all illusions of form and identity. For this session, let yourself be in a comfortable space where you can fully relax. You will want to remain awake throughout the session and will have the opportunity to drift off to sleep when the session concludes.
This session is best done with the use of stereo headphones
