Join your Heart in the Season of Non-Violence

I would like to extend an invitation to join me (and thousands of others around the world) in honoring the Season of Nonviolence and collectively journeying towards a more peaceful existence for all.

"The Season for Nonviolence is a movement that seeks to bring people together to promote peace and nonviolence in their communities. It was established by Arun Gandhi, the grandson of Mahatma Gandhi, as a way to honor the legacies of his grandfather and Martin Luther King Jr. The Season runs for 64 days between January 30, the day of Gandhi's assassination, and April 4, the day of King's assassination." - Excerpt from the Gandhi Foundation

There are many ways that we can each participate in this season of nonviolence and commit to a more peaceful way of life. Below are two sites that provide more information and the daily words/practices for each day of this movement.

Further, over the next couple of months, in my Island Soul Journey, I will be sharing daily quotes or reflections on the 64-themes of nonviolence. I invite you to Click Here to Join my Island, where we can collectively explore these principles and share our insights and reflections.

Let us create a space for dialogue, understanding, and inspiration as we work together to make a positive impact within our community and beyond.

“World peace through nonviolent means is neither absurd nor unattainable. All other methods have failed. Thus we must begin anew… Those of us who believe in this method can be voices of reason, sanity, and understanding amid the voices of violence, hatred, and emotion. We can very well set a mood of peace out of which a system of peace can be built.” –  Martin Luther King Jr. Dreams of Brighter Tomorrows in Ebony Magazine, March 1965.
